Single Email Service - SES
Please read the contract below which is intended for the SES service only. When you are ready to go ahead click the "SES - getting started" link on the left of this web page.
Our Contract with You
On receipt of an email of about 500 words and payment through Google CheckOut of our £25 fee a Skyways Counsellor undertakes to respond personally to your email within 72 hours. Their email will also normally be about 500 words.
Based on the information you send, our responses will help you to view your issue(s) from a different standpoint. We do not judge the rights and the wrongs of the situation and because we are not otherwise involved with you or anyone named in your email we are able to look at the situation objectively and will encourage you to do so as well.
Our response will make suggestions about possible steps which you might want to consider taking to alleviate your feelings about the issue. As counselling is intended to help you to look at difficult and painful issues which give rise to strong feelings, we are unlikely to provide you with practical advice about your issue. However, we will offer you suggestions about where or how to find further practical help or information where appropriate.
Your email and our response will be kept on the Skyway s Counsellor's private computer for a period of two months in case you wish to raise a query with them (for which an additional small fee may be charged). After that time, the correspondence is deleted.
All information is held to be confidential between you and the counsellor and no third parties will be informed of the correspondence unless you disclose something which the counsellor is required by law to act on (e.g. abuse of a child or serious harm to someone or information involving drugs or terrorism). In such cases, we are obliged by law to inform the appropriate authorities.
If you decide to seek further help from the counsellor who responded to your email, you negotiate a separate contract with them direct.
