Hello, I'm Rosemarie 

I came to counselling via social work and lecturing in mental health, adoption and court procedures. As a counsellor who mainly worked through face-to face use of language (talk) and dreamwork, I have now discovered the power and effectiveness of doing this online by email and Instant Messaging. It is an exciting and forward-looking way of communicating and exploring thoughts and feeling, and to developing insights that can help us understand the complexities of everyday life. It also provides participants with a print-out record of work that has been done.

Having lived in faraway places during most of my life I know how difficult and frustrating it can be when distance makes so much out of reach.  Counselling was certainly one of those things, and now the Internet can give access to that for many who may be housebound, geographically isolated, or who simply prefer the anonymity that online can bring.

I can offer online counselling via MSN Messaging and email, (also by telephone and face-to-face) to gay, lesbian and heterosexual individuals, couples and groups.
